US equities enjoyed a nice rebound day yesterday, but today brings more economic data so investors once again will be back to trying to read across to potential Fed moves. The early move, though, is a continuation from yesterday with futures slightly in the green. Oil moved lower while gold moved higher overnight, but as with equities, the moves are quite modest.
In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index gained 594.21 to 70,062.32, the Shanghai Index rose 20.50 to 4,094.40 and the Hang Seng Index dipped 145.66 to 22,881.02. In Europe, the German DAX is higher by 305.65 to 24,932.54 while the FTSE 100 is up 106.10 at 10,590.32.

- In biotech, DBVT provides BLA submission update for the viaskin® peanut patch in children aged 4 through 7 years; working collaboratively with FDA to optimize review process in preparation for filing; anticipates submitting viaskin peanut patch BLA in Q3 2026. Shares of ABVX soared in Ahs trading last night following ABVX reporting positive abtect maintenance part 2 results for obefazimod, demonstrating meaningful clinical benefit in refractory ulcerative colitis patients and strengthening the phase 3 maintenance safety database. GANX shares moved sharply higher after reporting receiving FDA clearance of IND to advance GT-02287 into Phase 2 clinical development for Parkinson’s Disease to initiate during Q326.
- Shares of GMAB rose last night after announcing announces positive Phase 3 results for epcoritamab plus lenalidomide in patients with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, demonstrating statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival; epcore dlbcl-4 reduces risk of progression and death by up to 60%. ABBV announced positive phase 3 results for epcoritamab plus lenalidomide in patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. NVCT shares fell sharply after announcing proposed public offering of common stock; 5m shares priced at $20.00. PRAX shares were lower after announcing the FDA set updated PDUFA date of December 27, 2026, for relutrigine. ONC announced its Brukinsa shows efficacy in Phase 3 lymphoma trial.
- The New England Journal of Medicine on Monday retracted an article on a pivotal clinical trial that supported approval of AMGN’s rare-disease drug, citing concerns that patient outcome data were altered and that some researchers had been unblinded. LLY and IVBXF jointly announced that they have entered into a distribution and promotion agreement regarding Lilly’s CDK4 & 6 inhibitor Verzenios in mainland China.
- In healthcare regulation, the US FDA announced Amneal, Cellares, LLY, Fujifilm, Kriya, Kyowa Kirin, and RGEN to join FDA precheck pilot; selected participants will engage with FDA under two-phase precheck model. U.S. house committee investigates ABBV, MRK China drug trials to determine if they fueled China’s military capabilities.
Technology, Media & Telecom
- After the close CNCX shares dropped sharply on earnings: Q2 EPS $2.63 vs est $2.64 and Q2 revenue $2.46B vs est $2.47B and lowered guidance: sees Q3 EPS $2.65-$2.7 vs consensus $3.09. SATS’s Dish DBS unit is preparing for chapter 11 as soon as Tuesday, as it aims to settle litigation and address debt load.
- Shares of VSH are lower after filing for a $750M common stock secondary of 15M shares priced at $50.00.
- Shares of defense tech firm AVAV climbed sharply last night after reporting a double beat, Q4 Adj. EPS $1.84 vs est $1.46 and Sales $641.616M vs est $558.809M.
- Shares of CCOI moved higher last night after announcing that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Cogent Fiber LLC, has closed the previously announced sale of 10 data center facilities for an aggregate purchase price of $225M in cash to a newly formed entity sponsored by I Squared Capital. CAST signs streaming entertainment platform agreement with WIRE3.
